- Coordinated with design team, providing multiple wire-frames with extensive documentation.
- Coordinated development of site with contracted developers.
- Developed templates and CSS stylesheets for new site.
- Managed integration of social networking elements (Facebook widgets, Twitter widgets, etc.)

Served on 4-person Editorial Leadership team, which helped Creative Loafing Atlanta emerge from chapter 11 bankruptcy (October 2009)
- Participate in budget planning meetings with publisher, sales director, marketing director, and distribution director.
- Propose digital, mobile and interactive strategies for CL Atlanta’s 2010 strategic plan

Direct the transformation of CL Atlanta’s website from a weekly publishing cycle to a daily publishing cycle (April 2009)

Creative Loafing Atlanta is the city’s authoritative lifestyle weekly. At the time of my employment, it was part of a chain of alternative weekly newspapers under the same name in Charlotte, Sarasota, and Tampa, as well as the Chicago Reader and the Washington City Paper.

Co-Founded an established baseball blog, featuring commentary and opinion from a handful of fans.
The site has generated attention in some media circles, being mentioned and linked to by The New York Times and nytimes.com, about.com, Sports Illustrated online, Startribune.com and other popular sports sites such as deadspin.com.
Designed and developed the site’s design and template using the WordPress CMS. Adapted open source plugins.
Currently, UmpBump.com has been visited over 1.8 million times since its launch in the spring of 2006, and it generates around 32,000 pageviews a month.

Directed the editorial focus of a Spanish-language community magazine.
Directed, designed, developed and implemented the graphical layout designs of the print edition and published and developed the online edition of the magazine (www.revistaelite.com) using both Joomla! and WordPress.
Managed the editorial and design teams. Executed editorial layout of the magazine using QuarkExpress and InDesign.
Designed the cover of the magazine for every issue.

Monitor major newspaper’s websites, blogs, and discussion boards for trade rumors, adhering to Editor and Publisher Tim Dierke’s standards for posting. MLBTR has quickly become one of the most popular independent baseball websites out there, being featured in the Chicago Sun Times, USA Today and publicly lauded by baseball legend Peter Gammons.
MLBTradeRumors recieved close to a million visits last July 31st, 2008, during Major League Baseball’s non-waiver trade deadline.
